Mauritius requires a valid International Certificate of Vaccination (yellow card) from all travellers arriving from endemic countries. The certificate must be at least 10 days old at time of travel. Obtain from Ghana Health Service vaccination centres in Accra, Kumasi, or regional capitals. Entry will be refused without a valid yellow card.

Mauritius requires an All-in-One travel form before arrival
Every foreign traveller must complete the Mauritius All-in-One Travel Digital Form within 72 hours before arrival, consolidating immigration, customs and health declarations. It is free through the government portal and applies regardless of visa status — being visa-free does not mean there is nothing to arrange. Health officials check the printed form or QR code on landing.
Mauritius enforces a funds test at the border, not a visa
There is no visa to arrange, but Mauritius applies its entry conditions at the counter and the officer sets the length of stay. Officials look for roughly USD 100 per day, about MUR 4,500, alongside a confirmed onward ticket and accommodation. This is the requirement visitors are least prepared for.
